The 2nd Syndicate thrives through its deep collaboration with Spartan Defense Armory & Training, Colorado Springs’ elite gun shop and premier firearms training center. Co-founded by Alicia Garcia, Teddy Collins and Roe Collins in 2025, this partnership merges Alicia’s advocacy with Spartan’s industry expertise upholding their motto “Making Colorado Springs safer and more educated on firearms.” Spartan Defense specializes in high-end firearms, custom builds, and world-class training, carrying top-tier brands like Staccato, Nighthawk, Noveske, and Atlas. As a family-owned business, they offer personalized service and exclusive products unavailable elsewhere. Together, we’ve built The 2nd Syndicate into a dynamic platform that bridges activism and the firearms industry. From challenging bills like Colorado’s SB25-003 to coordinating rallies, our joint efforts engage gun owners and unite the community against infringements of our natural right to self defense.
Alicia Garcia
Co-Founder
Alicia Garcia, the “Boomstick Babe,” is a Colorado-born firearms educator, certified Range Safety Officer, and dedicated 2nd Amendment activist. Raised in Trinidad and Denver, her childhood blended trap shooting with her family and Chicano activism, shaping her mission to normalize gun ownership. As a certified instructor, she teaches concealed handgun courses, focusing on safety and de-escalation.
Co-founder of The 2nd Syndicate, launched in 2025 with Spartan Defense, Alicia co-hosts its live show, discussing gun laws and industry insights. With over 25,000 Instagram followers (@theboomstickbabe), she shares safety tips and founded Boomstick Babe LTD apparel. As CFFLA’s Founding Secretary, she unites FFL holders, and as Co-Plaintiff in Garcia v. Polis, she challenges Colorado’s HB23-1219. A media icon, she defies stereotypes as a Hispanic gun owner. Teddy Collins, co-founder of The 2nd Syndicate and a cornerstone of Spartan Defense Armory & Training, brings a wealth of firearms industry knowledge and a fierce commitment to education.
